Bharat Announces Operation Vijay

Poona, Bharat

The Bharati Royal will be conducting a large scale military readiness exercise in the Western Ghats mountain range.  These mountains along Bharat's western coast reach up to 2,600 meters in height.

The objective of the exercise is to repulse a simulated invasion of the west coast.  An invasion where a port was seized and the invaders are now dug in the city and surrounding hills.  So a special focus will be placed on attempting to eject the invaders from strong defensive positions.

The exercise will be the largest peace time operation conducted by the Bharat Army with over 300,000 men mobilized and the largest military activity since the Kolkata War.

The Brandenburg Government views the timing, location, and intent of these "exercises" as very interesting to say the least.
