No, but scarily enough I think I recognize the room in the bottom left shot, from, of all things, Don Blum's Anastasia.

About the Russian Revolution, whatever it is?

I'm curious to see what the King is considered guilty of.  My recollection is that he was crowned by legally elected representatives of the Swiss people.  Oh well...

Desertfox

Close, as far as time and geography, but no.

IC: As does The Duetscher Kaiserreich.
OOC: Knowing Fox there will be no King to exile.

Japan has good credits when it comes to taking care of royalty in exile. :)

You think he will be sent over as a participant in Killian's Pit? :D

OOC: Hmm, how would the Old Swiss regard the exiled King of the New Swiss?  Probably not well, though I bet he's somebody's long-lost cousin.

semi-IC: The Bavarians are willing to find a mountain chalet to stick him in.

Actually the king is related to the Norman Monarchy, and what's witrh all the exile requests? What makes you people think I won't just have him suffer an 'accident'? Hmm... the Japanese offer is intruging...

Pics come from Hamlet (1996), here's the link to the actual scene. Ironiclly it's in Russian, and is missing some parts.

Well if he's of Norman extraction, strike my offer.
As for why- it's a bit traditional to send the King into exile rather than something else. For one thing it doesn't tick off his supporters and relatives as much. Also, it serves as an inducement for them all to go quietly. Though occaisionally they set up shop in the South Pacific.
As for accidents, why do you bring up Lugwig II's tragic end?

Because Henry did more for New Switzerland's standing in the worlds eyes in 2 yrs than the "Republicans" have done in 15. And he's a Monarch, it's just how we roll.

Republic of New Switzerland= Sneaky, backstabbing, ruthless buggers who string you along until the cement is ready.
Kingdom of New Switzerland= Stand-up fellows who try to do right and at least stab you in the chest.

Funny, cause I never backstabbed anyone, while getting backstabbed quite a few times.

The world sees what it wants to see. Especially, when people like Henry who was instrumental in starting the 2nd Pacific War...

One must always remember, perception is reality and Monarchies will almost always choose other Monarchies over Republics. Also remember, this is all IC. OOC You're fine, no problems with you. You're chaotic, but within reason and with explanation. Besides, like Logi says "Chaos will win because order is dumb". :D

Hehehe, oh I know that. Just that I find it funny, cause for a while I was the only one actually handing out declarations of war, before attacking people.

It should read: "Chaos will win, because order is boring..." ;D And besides OTL is chaotic... ;)
