Dutch/Siamese War: The Takashima Conference

The Colombian ambassador [OOC:  whose name I constantly forget, since I let Walter assign him something large and awkward] has adjourned the conference for the day.

After dinner has been served in each delegation's quarters, they receive word that the DKB has wired a peace offer directly to the Hague, and that the Hague has relayed a counter-offer.

OOC:  Having received some helpful input from Dutch allies, I will represent the Netherlands as Sam and I try to hash out an end to this.

As the delegates rise for breakfast, they find sealed envelopes waiting for them.  Within, a short note indicates that the Dutch and Brandenburgers have negotiated into the morning, and have reached an agreement.  Details are to come - the lawyers are going over the language.

OOC:  Details of the peace, and the truncated January war report, will be up tomorrow.  I don't have time to do it tonight.
