 Russian army tests sky cleapers
St. Peterburg, 6th of July
Russian ministry of Defence show its interest in mister Zeppelin's invention. "That automatic balloon is very good staff for aerial reconnaissance. But we shouldn't deal with mr Zeppelin and buy his invention. We have ordinary balloons in our army and we are working on their modification now. Moreover, nowadays we have some more sky cleapers, which are tested now by our special ari department at Tushino field in Moscow"— said Alexey Rediger, the Minister of Defence to Vedomosti.

To prove the probability of survival
Helsingfors, 15th of July
Cruiser of the 1-st rank "Diana" left yesterday the harbour of Helsingfors. It is known, that the ship will arrive to the French port of Havre early morning of the 18th of July and after day's station will continue her voyage to the Cup Horn and further to Pacific Ocean. "Diana" will have a short station in Kurilsk and Vladivostok after what she will lays on back course.
As it was told to Vedomosti at the Navy Ministry, the main goal of the trip is to prove a possibility of a solitary voyage for long distances without steady supply. The only stop of "Diana" between Havre and Kurilsk expected at the Peru port of Machala.

New cruisers in honour of Russian Tsars
Kronshtadt, 20th of July
Two new cruisers have been commissioned to the Russian Imperial Navy yesterday. They are "Askold" and "Varyag". Cruisers were named in honor of the Ancient Russian tsars.
Both cruiser will have a training course in Baltic and afterwhat will be transferred into Pacific fleet, as expected.

Cape Horn passed
Machala, 10th of August
Russian Imperial Navy cruiser "Diana"has passed the Cup of Horn. During the cruise arjund the Hord, cruisel was slightly damaged in the storm — radio antenna was broken and some hull attachments was washed away. The crew of "Diana" has already repaired the telegraph station and the cruiser asteams to Machala. She expected there in 15th of August.

Note against piracy
St. Peterburg, 22nd of August
Russian ministry of Foreign Affairs has released the Note of Protest against the piracy in the Pacific. "We condemn the piracy in the Pacific. All the states which use piracy in their war or political goals, pillage and sink neutral ships, will face our power and be isolated by the sea blockade by Combined fleets of all states-victims", — tells in the Note
Actually, it is not a clear evidence to whom this note addressed, but we may suspect that this attac is against the Anahuac Empire and Uruguay, which ships were noticed under black flags in that region.

I don't mean to sound ignorant, but what do you mean by 'sky cleapers'.

Possibly it has been lost in translation: I assume they are airships?
