It has come to the attention of the Forgien Minister that the Anuhuac Empire is planning on using a forgien national in an upcoming sacrifice by the preist Qu'nach somewhere on the Pacific coast.
The only information about this person is that it is a white blond adult female of undetermined age.

Forgien Minster, Lubbert Gijsbertsz, stated:
"The Netherlands has in the pass avoided making statements about the affairs of the Anuhuac Empire and it's practices, but this is such an outrage that we can now longer remain silent to the atrosities in Anuhuac. The Netherlands demands that this person be released immediately and her government be notified to arrange for her return. The sacrifices of there own people is one thing but the sacrifice of an innocent woman is to much.
"Again the we demand her immediate release."

The Foreign Office has also stated that if she is not released that the Netherlands will offer support to Rohirrim short of direct involvement.


1 August, 1899

The Queens secretary released news the Her Majesty will be wed after the first of the year.
She did not release the name of the gentleman.

(OOC: I'm starting to get the feeling the lines for a Great War are being drawn within this conflict. I wonder how this will resolve itself in the next 15 sin years.)

Rohan, being at war with the Anahuac, would like to know the identity of this woman and what value or crime the Southern Saruman feels she has done. Should this person be a Gondorian or Rohirrim national, the holding of this woman may well bring out the wrath of far more then just the armies in New Beleriand.

The Anahuac Empire is placed in the unfortunate position of having to remind our brain-deficient enemies that it is not customary nor sensible for a combatant nation to require that its opponent in war give any information about its own domestic events.

Furthermore, no such event is planned or has taken place: this "news" is a sad and pitiful attempt the Netherlands is making in order to gain some cheap moral high ground. However, in order to end all rumors regarding the subject, we have allowed a joint Caliphate/French team of investigators into our realm to prove to the world our honesty.

Customs tend to not be in play during times of war. Rohan will still like to know what the Neatherlands thinks they know about this report.

In the meantime, Rohan will focus on driving the Southern Saruman from Gondorian lands.
