Anybody intending to take an active role in the Siamese/Dutch conflict is to have orders to Guinness and I no later than Saturday night.

Ahoj!
What is the state of the RRC-Burma incident on August the 5th?

So far as I'm aware, a peace has been concluded by this date - though RRC, Firanji, Colombian, and Iberian forces may still be in the area.

Borys

Ahoj!
So by this date that issue had been closed.
As to forces in the area - I have a corps of light infantry, a battleship, a monitor, and a cruiser squadron in the area. Possibly also half a dozen minesweepers.

I never ended my own movement orders... I have a great deal in route at least.

The Rock Doctor

It would be good to get updated movement orders from the folks involved in the Sino/Burmese incident - even if you're remaining neutral for this conflict, your shipping may still be crossing paths with the Dutch or Siamese.

Italia Shipping remains active in the Bay of Bengal moving refugee's from Kolkata and Rangoon to Refugee camps in Ceylon, and to camps in Somalia.   Refugee that wish to take offers of refuge in countries other then France, or Italia may be picked up at either set of refugee camps.

That's ok. If you have some orders, just get them to us ASAP.

The only thing Bavaria has remotely in the region would be the aviation assets donated to Burma, those should be somewhere in the Red Sea on a frieghter or two and would be in the Siamese region in late August.

Did they play the fife lowly,
Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

Um I won't be doing much until there comes a need for me to intervene.

OOC New Switzerland used to have a treaty with Siam pledging its support in case of war. It could still be in effect.

Also do you guys need my old OOB for the Siamese Armed Forces?

Moved this to the discussion thread...

We've got something from your previous post on the subject when I updated Siam's general status for 1/1916. Is it different from that?

Because NS is effectively idle at the moment, we have been working under the assumption that the regime change there has meant that NS will not be providing any support to Siam.

Can't really tell as there is no information on the Siamese Navy, but I do feel that Siam got the short end of the deal when the move was made. Before it actually stood a chance of beating the Dutch, not it doesn't have anything.

Understand the Swiss stance, understandable after the 2nd Pacific War. Thought a small amount of help woul be reasonable.

Just noticed the Moulmein to Phuket base change. The base at Moulmein was not a mistake, Siam did have a good chunk of Burma.

Bloated nations (esp. population-wise) that were NPCs at the transition - like Siam - were cut back. This was a deliberate decision.

Looking back, Guinness' post on the canal has had some unintended consequences. Might be explained by that he was not around the time Siam was an issue.
