The evil Rohirrim have mined one of our warships! The armored bark 27 was sunk by a Rohirrim mine off of the Mosquito Coast November 30. The ship sank quickly, and hundreds of brave Anahuac seamen were killed in this RUTHLESS and WICKED attack! A Rohan destroyer was seen fleeing the area when the survivors of 27 were picked up.

The Empire of Anahuac formally declared war last night on the wretched Men of Westernesse. May these evil destroyers of peace be ejected into the Void by Me'el Quor!

While most of our armed forces are unready, the few on alert have bravely gone into action, defending our land from the wicked Rohirrim. Many troops have been seen marching to Coatzacoalcos, perhaps ready to board ships to attack the evildoers from the sea!

The Empire of Anahuac calls on all nations to condemn this horrible attack on her warship by Rohan.

Whatever else you say about the Anahuac, they've got a good propagandist.

I still doubt the authenticity of the attack, though...

WAR!

The Southern Saruman have wrongfully accused our kingdom of torpedoing one of their precious "barks". "Nonsense," cried Beraguard Parigal, Governor of New Beleriand. "The Anahuac have been teething to bring our nation back under their iron fist and twisted ideals, and now they've summoned up an excuse to let their will be done unto us."

The King reportedly addressed the nation yesterday to declare war on the Anahuac Empire. The Reserves might be called up, depending on how quickly the Southern Sarumans fall before our Army.

The Foreign Advisors have asked that the other nations of the world not interfere in the affairs of Rohan and this war. "We can handle the situation ourselves," said Boromir Lightfoot, Foreign Advisor to European Nations. "We only ask for support in locating Anahuac raiders and protecting commercial interests that we have in your waters or on your soil during the course of the war".

Let these be the Days of the King. Long Live Theocro, King of the Riddermark!
