You might want to distinguish between events that have happened and those that have not yet...

You could add:

July 28th RRC Task Force lands on the beaches of Rangoon.

You're telling me that RRC landed sealift troops, in the largest port/capital city in Burma, with the entire (granted tiny) Burmese Navy patrolling off the coast, not to mention whatever GC and Iberian ships are in the area, and NO ONE NOTICED/FOUGHT BACK?!?!?!

Hey, hey. Apparently no GC or Iberian ship decided to fight me or notice me.

Besides, patrolling doesn't mean they are all at Rangoon. And I don't know but maybe I could sink the Burmese ships? You know, given my task force weights several more times than the whole Burmese navy ???

Sachmle

Fair enough, but where is the battle report?

Is not July 28 yet, its an assumption. I do know it made its way into the Malacca Straits safely.

Sachmle

Oh. I don't know if I like posting things that haven't happened yet, or may not even happen. Seems misleading.

Both Chinese optimistic projections of the future *and* poor operational security seems to be on display here.

At any rate, WRT the Sino-Burmese war, we're currently stuck at right around July 24th or 25th 1916 (at least at the time I'm writing this).

Events that come after that will depend on whether or not we manage an OOC settlement of this conflict, and can therefore script it (which is the current effort), or if we have to sim it out.

Expect a deadline on the can we figure out if we can script this and move on effort imminently.

GC and Iberia sent their orders in...  We will see what happens if it comes to that.  There was to be diplomatic talks in the mean time that may or may not negate the military orders.

All of this is OOC and tell we get a moderation needs to be taken with a large grain of salt.

I'm sure the Dutch sunk them and put the blame on the Habsburgs :)

On operation events things are very easy, nothing happens until I say so. ?
