Church officials have condemned the Anahuac Empire for the reported violence against Christians at their New Year's Ceremony. A bishop, who declined to be specifically identified, commented that "these barbarians shall get what they deserve in the end".

The Chancellor declined to comment on the dispute between New Switzerland and Russia regarding Port Arthur, however the mood of the people appears to support New Switzerland rather strongly.

15 March
High-ranking government officials have been making repeated visits to the Habsburg Embassy. Rumour on the street is that there have been discussions regarding the future of the interior of southern Africa, which as of yet has not been claimed by any power. The Foreign Ministry has, however, denied these claims.

29 March
There have been scattered rumours that the Navy has been cancelling leave for some of its sailors. Why has not been explained, however, and we have yet to find any sailors who have been recalled from leave.
