Pushed the table out till 1925 and made some minor changes to minelayers.  I suggest that we say a mine laying sub can carry 2 mines for every torpedo deleted.  Minelayers have no aft torpedo tubes only a mine laying tube.  This would allow some variation.  I have tried to correct the table to match the date change that got rid of the 1895 first date but kept the 1910 tech alone.  I just merged the 1895 into 1900 so that has 4 boat types.

The 1925 3,000 ton boat would be possible to carry wierd things like a single float plane, more torpedo's, extra range, additional crew space, mini subs, etc.  The ultra large cruiser boats were all old balls as I recall.

is it strange to anyone else that the 1910 750t and 1000t boats have more surfaced range than their 1915 contemporaries?

Those are the minelayers from 1915 year they had reduced range on the old table.  I should have corrected that; thanks.

I like it... and I agree completely about the mines/torpedoes thing.
It's a good fit- simple to implement and easy to figure out.

I got around to fixing the UBoat table with respect to ranges of the Minelayers.
The mine layers work by deleting 1 torpedo load gets you 2 mines.  For example you delete the 250 ton Uboat, delete all for torpedo's and you get 8 mines.  On larger subs you might choose to have more or less torpedos to increase or decrease the mineloads.   It might line up better with historic minelayer loads by doing 3 or even 4 mines to each torpedo deleted.
