Motor Vehicle Manufactors

Russo-Balt: (sometimes Russobalt or Russo-Baltique) was the first Russian company that produced cars between 1909 and 1923.
Initially the cars were built at the railway car factory (RBVZ) in Dvinsk, Latvia. A second factory was opened in Saint Petersburg, where they built armoured cars on chassis produced in Dvinsk. In 1916, another factory was built in Moscow(BTAZ). Russo-Balt produces both trucks and cars, often more or less copies of cars from the German Rex-Simplex or Belgian Fondu.

These half-track vehicles were designed by the Russian engineer Adolph Kegresse. Adolph Kegresse was the chief of the Russian Tsar's garages. He has designed a whole series of military vehicles for his adoped home.
