Seriously im considering making a very intentional mistake, instead of laying down a pair of Lions this HY im thinking about laying down a another pair of 8X12" BCs these would be larger than my previous pair (23,200 vs 16,300) but smaller than the Lions.

If I were to do it I would sight faulty Intel that told me that the Netherlands was only using 12" guns later on.  any thoughts on the Idea?

While i can see reasons for using 30cm guns, ingorance of what the Netherlands is building would not be one. There are already ships with 35cm guns in service, and the plans for the Wilhelminas were made official at  Exposition Universelle et Industrielle des Bruxelles, including a model and a display of one of the 38cm guns.

Nothing wrong with roleplaying mistakes, but I'd assume there's a reason you'd be choosing to make that mistake...
