After Crete I was think about what do I do to improve my Naval Infantry and was thining about what could I build them?  So I went to the current tech...

Baseline(0)  lifeboats and the use of enemy harbors.
1905  Advanced (+1) shallow draft barges and shallow draft support ships
1910 Cutting edge (+3)  LST ships
1920 Futuristic (+5) Landing support ships and LST carriers
1928 Ultimate (+7): Mulberry harbors and amphibious vehicles.

By LST am I to understand the following...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landing_Ship%2C_Tank

1,000 ton plus ship able to land right on the beach?

That doesn't make sense...  As its a 1940 invention..

I think what was intended was LC(X) Landing Craft of X type...  Looking at wiki...

The first dedicated built ship was the LC(M) for Mechanized intended to drop a single 16 ton medium tank on a beach or some infantry... Later they get bigger and more capable...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landing_Craft_Mechanized

So I think the rules should have said was...

Baseline(0)  lifeboats and the use of enemy harbors.
1905  Advanced (+1) shallow draft barges and shallow draft support ships
1910 Cutting edge (+3)  Landing Craft
1920 Futuristic (+5) Landing support ships and LC carriers
1928 Ultimate (+7): Mulberry harbors and amphibious vehicles.
1935: LST's

I assume we don't want to dwell to much on the size of Landing Craft themselves?
