Hmmmm.... So who do we bribe to get some new ship designs until I can become competent on Spring Sharp.   Maybe I could Offer $ to the winner of a design competition.

Just realized I really have to start building more ships quickly or I am going to start loosing serious amounts of BP every year and I most of my designs are a little outdated or I'm not happy with the concept for which they were designed.

Yes, very much so! We love checking out new SS designs, and we promise not to be too harsh. After all, we we're where you are now at some point in time. (Not so long ago for some of us.) ;)

Ok when and If I finish one I will do so.... Now all I have to do is connect my laptop to my high speed internet so I can down load Springsharp to my laptop and play with it at work instead of just my home computer.    45 Min to down load it over work wireless conection.... *swipes forehead*

I just noticed that it was the Microsoft product needed to run Spring Sharp that was taking up all the time to down load.

I agree I guess I will have to spring $20 bucks and pick up a 1 Gig thumb drive.  The one Im using is only 256 MB and its quite old.

They also have others. I got a PNY 2GB for $10 a while back. I washed the thing on accident and dryed it, and it still works like brand new.

I was plaing with Springsharp whilst playing City of Heroes last night, and made my first ship!

SS tells me that if I fire the guns in any direction but straight forward, or try and turn, or encounter a stiff wind..  I'll turn turtle.


But it's still exciting starting a new learning curve!

I didnt like the fact my first design was an all broad side armament....  and we arent playing wooden ships and iron men.......

I have a decent ship going now and the hints about how to get superfiring and lower the free board... well dont go to far my first attempt at that sank the ship.... something about bow wave over deck ???

Im pretty sure I got SS 2.1 a slight improvement they said over 2.01 but I remembered miketr talking about the SS2 vs SS3 arguements.
