You have an aircraft carrier because it was built by somebody with a serious case of "hindsightedness".  You can, of course, put it up for sale, or just scrap her for residual value.

There's no doubt sim reports should be examined carefully for errors, and that players should read through each other's reports simply on the general principle of knowing what's happening in our sim.  Mods can not be relied upon to see and catch every large or small error that may creep into a report.

I'll take the high road and assume that there was no intentional cheating on Tanthalus' part.  Cheating, of course, is a serious issue punishable by keel-hauling under MN Superbe.

To clarify:  civilian money remains civilian money, whether transferred to another party, "loaned", or otherwise not invested in normal civilian ways.

I'm not going to ask Charles to go back and fix all of Tan's reports; that's not fair to Charles.  The important things to address are ensuring that Charles has accurate starting statistics (people, IC, BP) for his first report, and that the tech research is sorted out correctly.  Any assistance the rest of us can provide to him in those regards would be appreciated, and I thank Blooded for his diligence.

I suppose you could convert the hull into something else that is useful instead of just scrapping it. She's a good sized hull with a lot of coal bunkerage already.

Having the largest and most expensive component of an air scout group ready and on-hand ahead of time isn't nothing... nor is having a tested and worked-out doctrine for their operation and application.

Plus, she'd make an excellent airship tender, and those are more immediately useful - to the point that I've contemplated building a few myself.

That said, yeah, she's a bit of a boondoggle. ^_^ I'd put her in storage for a few years while technology catches up to the concept.

One more thing about errors, sometimes I think it would be a good idea for players to simply tell the mods about the error, rather then splashing it out in the open.
This to avoid hobby-moderation that can often create bad feelings between players. Also, sometimes one is less inclined to answer another player in the open when the issue touch on cloak-and-dagger issues, again creating some bad blood when one does not want to answer.

That's because she's built on an old BB hull.

I appologize to all my Tech Transfer Partners but I will not be able to complete the 1912 Engine Tech until in all likelihood 1913 H1 or H2 Definetly.  I tried but I had to finish some of the things that Italy was already using when I fixed the Tech Problems.  I was able to push some things asside and start the 1912 20,000 HP Engine Tech in 1910 H2.

I will continue the Tech Transfer agreement until I have those Engines to Transfer to you all but will probably want to formalize the agreement after that.

Ok, ok. I'll draft a treaty to codify the MICS test share. Probably by Tuesday or so (EDT) July 1 (real time)
