Question.

Will there be need for me to sim naval battles, or if others will do that, penetration tables for the guns that would be played?

I ask again.

There may be.  Thanks for asking.  The Mods have to sort out all the administrative issues still...

The Rock Doctor

Okay, I need some help:  I need a map of the entire Balkans, from southern Hapsburgia southward to Crete, with 1914 borders, a good level of detail for towns/water/mountains, and a minimum of other crap.  Black and white preferred.

Anybody able to direct one to me?

There is this, detail I think is too high but it covers the area you want.

I also patched this map together from the west point map collection.

It doesn't have the same area of the top map but it doesn't have detail overload either.

Ahoj!

Please note lack of rail conection between Athens and Thessalonika.
Please note single all-Ottoman rail conection between Istambul and Thessalonika/Belgrade. The other line runs through Vlach-Bulgar territory.

Thanks, guys.  I think I've found a couple of decent maps, and will make the necessary modifications tonight.  It shouldn't take long after that to get the June report up.

The Rock Doctor

Apologies for the delay in getting that first wee report up.  I'll finish off June today or tomorrow, at which point I'll ask for July orders and do it up on Monday/Tuesday or so.

The Rock Doctor

Last week of June will be posted tomorrow.

Orders for July - from belligerents as well as interested neutrals - should be submitted by Sunday evening.

If anybody would be willing to compile an H2/12 sim report for the Ottomans, and run the business side of that nation (in conjunction with the Mods) I would be greatly appreciative of this.  It should not take too long, but every minute I spend on that would be less time spent on resolving the war.

The Rock Doctor

Y'all will have noticed that I'm playing with thread management just now.  If you're replying to either Balkan War (H1 or H2) thread, please be sure it's the correct one.

I'll be simming out (or at least starting it...) July 1912 tonight, so will hope for new up in two or three days.

The Rock Doctor

July's land campaign is simmed out; naval stuff is next, but shouldn't take too long.

P3D

I can do the report. I'd appreciate it if miketr would send me the excel file.

Thanks very much!  I'll ask any folks doing business with the Ottomans in H2 to inform P3D of this via private message.

August's land battles are resolved, but took longer than I expected.  Sorting out naval stuff now.  Will hope to post not later than Tuesday evening.
