If a study of reliable refueling bases and islands comes to the conclusion of a workable network, the DKB would be very much willing to facilitate the construction of the necessary infrastructures with in its territories to push such a project through.  These would be overseen by the military, due to them being tempting targets, but in the end, it would be a civilian and peaceful endeavor.  More information will be made in the coming months as it comes in and is made available.

Hopefully all will eventually benefit from this project and be expanded to a more global instead of limited network.  Plans will include links to the Americas if it is feasible...

Attached note to the release:
You must forgive certain members of our government, they are very much visionaries and the engineering department is quite frustrated in their attempts to do what the young Kaiser wishes.

If this idea ever comes to maturity, the CSA could be persuaded to construct a terminal in an appropriate place on our west coast.

I'd also note that due to the constant strong westerlies around the Antarctic, regular airship operations south of 40th parallel are (IMHO) close to impossible, esp. westwards. So no airships south of Australia or Vaterland.

Brandenburger Indochina is still too much out of the way.
The first purpose of a warship is to remain afloat. Anon.

Sniff - so much for putting Sandes-Spitz (Punta Arenas) on the map of Zeppelin aviation ...

Vinh is almost due West from Manila.
And it would be quite natural for the Niu Guini Zeppelin to go to Manila.
Distances (land miles)
Rabaul - Manila - 2500
Rabaul - Davao  - 2000
Davao - Manila  - 600
Davao - Vinh - 1600
Manila - Vinh - 1050
Vinh - Rangoon - 600
Vinh - Calcutta - 1175
