What/where are they, exactly, and how much for the lot of them under terms mirroring the Treaty of Easter Island, ie, French ships would be permitted to keep using any sold ports or ones built after the sale for a period of, say, 99 years, renewable?

Does the image below show up (clearly?); if so, it is accurate to mid-1908.

Other than Maoria being missing, of course, but it was not really relevant at the time.

Valles

It does, though kinda small for the fiddliness of its subject matter. Maoria's appropriate position to the southeast of Pitcairn is easy enough to fill in.

A much better summary of my target zone than I'd managed to find anywhere else. ^_^

The original's about two thousand pixels wide - it got scaled down by the system here.  Now that I've got some administrative rights, I'm going to be looking into that.

France isn't active at the moment, mostly due a bit of a burn out, but also a lack of time.
But, it isn't dead by any means, just having a introspective periode.
Unless my fellow moderators say otherwise.

IC.

The Treaty of Easter Island does not touch any of the French possessions in the Southern Pacific.

France can navel-gaze if it wants to.

IC: Of course it doesn't. But if the French government doesn't care about maintaining access to its bases there after the territory's sale, that is of course acceptable also...

OOC: BTW, the difference in my phrasing here doesn't reflect a change in the terms originally offered by PM, just that there are some things it's considered unbecoming to discuss in public.

It's up to Maorias ambassadors, envoys and spies to see if France cares for French Polynesia.

And that can be done in several ways. But the meeting room isn't the place to go looking for that information.

Try the newroom.  ;)
But I won't be answering this weekend. Again a trip to the UK for the Robot Wars Uk championship for 30lbs machines.

The Rock Doctor

I'm cheering for you, Maddox:

"EXTERMINATE!  EXTERMINATE!"

So, in short, I have to present a fait accompli and hope I don't get slapped down.

Wonderful.

In the context of this thread, does this jolly chant concern:
1 - UK Robot Wars
2 - French - Maori relations in the Pacific
