As more than a few people have noticed I have not posted in some time.  It's a combination of personal and academic problems.  I had to write 4 book reports in the last six weeks of school for my HIS501 course.  Two of the books were out right painful to read.  Plus both my children, my wife and I have gotten sick in that time period.  This last week end we laid to rest my wife's grand mother; she was 99 and passed in her sleep.  We had been looking forward to her 100th birthday; she was 19 days short of it.  While it was a good death in my opinion of such matters; clear mind, reasonable mobility and visited by family almost daily what death is every really good?  As such my wife has needed a greater degree of attention from me.

At any rate things have been very tough and while I see the light a head of me in the tunnel I am still trying to figure out if it's the end of the tunnel or a freight train to run me over with something else.  My intention is to play; if I can just find some time.

Sorry to all for not speaking up sooner.

No problem Mike. Everyone has issues in RL. Jobs, school, family, all these come first. Nverse is a diversion from RL, not LIFE. We'll be here (and hopefully more *Crosses fingers*) when you get back. Good luck, God Speed, and enjoy whats there.

NO worries.
I wish you well in all the trials and endeavours, and hope it is NOT a train in the tunnel (as that would be a bad and massy death).

What is HIS501, is it a degree or a course?

My guess on HIS501 is a History couse 501 level. High level stuff, bravo for taking it, hope you pass.

God bless you and the fam, Mike... me and Stef will remember you in our prayers.
RL is a pain... when you get it sorted out, Iberia will be here waiting for you.

Just pop in and out as time arises... and the CSA will forget about how much we covet Puerto Rico for a while. ;)

Thank you all for the kind words.

As to the course, its History as people suspected.  Studies in European History: End of the Old Order in Europe 1648 - 1815.  Course was no problem as with other courses they are hit and miss in interest, material, instructor and work load.  I have taken two 630 courses that I rate no better than 350's in true work load but both the 501's I have taken have had very heavy reading loads.

My program is MA History; I have delusions at being a lecturer some day.

Hopefully it's just a light at the end of the tunnel, and you'll be out in daylight again soon.
