Vloot ranks - I can understand or guess at most of them - or some just "look" sensible.

Oh, so the rank is not a joke. But the name made my suspect that - "Shouts by Night".

Interesting fate of word - from 2nd in command, thus after "Captain" into a rank ABOVE that of Captain.

BTW - the CIVILIAN head of a Polish province* translations as "leader of warriors" ... :)
but nobody thinks about it that way.

Ledeper - your use of the word SCOUT clarified everything.
Now I see that
Schout bij Nacht
is not
shout
but
skout.

The newest Torpedobootjagers has the 50mm listed as the Main armament and the 88mm listed as the secondary. You then list the main as having a gun shield, which would be the 50mm, but show the 88mm as having the shield in the picture.

Question about the KTB-4 Torpedo Boat.

SS says four 17.7-inch TT's but drawing only shows 2. Should it be just 2 with 2 reloads?

Two are fixed in the forecastle, below the "flying" torpedo.
