One logical question:  Why would the French give you their largest guns?

They owed the UK big time for turbines, and various other ships that have been built/ rebuilt for them.

Maddox, I as the UKA sold France turbines for its aria class in 1904, was this info lost.

The UKA sold Premier Palpaté 30 15000 hp steamturbine units.
In exchange the 6 340mm guns from Greater Napoleon and  2 build for Paris got transported to the UKA during 1904- when the fortress Greater Napoleon is being build, and a load of MBP's in the form of factories  build on the border.

OOC
France did honor Palpatés deal, and the 8 340 mm guns are in the UKA now.

And Ithecro, you designed those ships, and those 340 mm guns are representing 13" guns.

If you read other parts, you'll know that France has 15" guns, but wouldn't spend more money on them.

Well that explains it at least...I guess I missed that in the news earlier.
