Winter weather...

Anybody else in the NE US or central Canada "enjoying" this big winter storm? I have doubts I'll be able to dig out enough to get to work tomorrow...

Yes...hauling five gallon pails of water to the barn, through 2.5 foot snow drifts, did not make for a fun morning.

The visibility's improving here, strangely - I thought things were to get worse as the day went on.

How appropriate - my wife has popped The Day After Tomorrow into the DVD player. The token reference to Canada has been made, and LA and New York have received their mandatory CGI-laden trashing. *Gags*

Got an inch of snow in Arizona! Moved a bit further south into brilliant sunshine. Probably wont be seeing snow again for a few weeks, when I go back north again.

What is this snow thing you speak of? ;)

We see snow in the Bay Area about once every 11 years it seems. It might stay on the ground for a little while once every 33 years I guess. But then we are near the coast and the elevation is only about 25 feet above sea level here.
