Its the Turks...  I will need to convert there OOB army and Navy, then try to make the economy work.

Borys, in the latest PM you said they had 7 BP under the old system?  It would make more sense for a long lived / stronger Ottoman Empire to have a respectable economy.  The Pasha has pointed out several times that there eonomic strength was in Europe and they still have most of the Balkans.

As to the 80 million figure I am going to take a quick look at what the historic populations looked like.

Ahoj!
To my best knowledge 34M.

Using http://www.populstat.info, numbers in 1,000's of course.

I come up with the following figure as of 1900: 36520.6
--This includes all the lost areas it still holds in N3 but not other lost areas like Egypt and the rest of North Africa.

With growth of 2% every two years population looks like this.

1902   37251.012
1904   37996.03224
1906   38755.95288
1908   39531.07194
1910   40321.69338
1912   41128.12725

34 vs. 36,5 - so I almost got it right :)

P3D hit a bull's eye with his 40M for N-ere, then :)

I would also suggest the uses of this data...

1/1/1906
7 BP
57 IC

The data you gave me is just too weak, lower than Bavaria's.

I will start entering pop data and other stuff to the new spreadsheet I have.

LOL i was going to offer to do it but looks like its well in hand.

Fine with me.
But in some matters I am only one third(fourth) of a larger whole :D

Yes, the weaker than Bavaria thing is intentional, their industrial capacity while better than IRL is low. 30IC, 6BP.

P3D I got those numbers already thanks.  Doing the numbers quickly there military is going to be beyond 2nd rate.  If the projected attack on them goes forward in 1912 me and borys are going to just roll them.  It will be bloody till there defensive lines are cracked but once we do there just going to collapse.  Its clear the last player wanted to focus on a massive static land defense.; which I can do I.  Not his 70 or 80 corps army counting the forts; but I can come up with a large defense but it will be all shell and no stuffing.

I view Iberia as the standard of whats the bottom of the heap... the Ottomans with 40 POP, 6 BP and 30 produce $62.  That leaves just $31 for the peace time military which makes me look rich by comparison.

Solution is to make most of their reserve corps Dated to fill up the numbers, with standing baseline armies and perhaps one or two advanced elite corps.
However, we could give Turkey some economic growth, 6IC for 1906-11, for 36 IC total and a revenue of $72.8. Use that as a rule of thumb.

OK I redid the Ottoman Army...

Its now the following
5 Baseline Infantry Corps Active
4 Baseline Infantry Corps Reserve
5 Dated Cav Corps Active
2 Dated Mountain Corps Active
20 Dated Garrison corps from 13 fortified line sections and 7 type 1 forts (all in reserve)

Total worst case assuming having to fight on all fronts at once would require $69 and 17.9 BP (the outsized artillery setups of the forts / fortified lines plus the increased upkeep of the forts in war really hurt).  Given several years I should be able to build things up such that the turks can have another 6 month supply of BP and $.  Also I doubt the Ottomans would expect to have to face a massive attack on all fronts and need to actually fight all the forts and lines at the same time.  I will crank out the economics this weekend; 1906-1909.
