To IM or not to IM, that is the question.

Although most of us are in different time zones, countries, ect... and PMs are useful for "secret" meetings, they are slow, especially once you get behind.  Therefore, I propose IM, Instant Messeging for those unaware, as a supplament.  Basically when alot of us are on it's easier to IM and get quicker feedback on questions and ideas.  While not effective for SS critiqie directly, you could check the post on a SS report then IM author with comments for rapid response.  PM would still be used alot, just not for "conversation" as much. IM is like telephone while PM is like mail.  Just food for thought.  Any comments?

im online most of the day, that said sometimes the delay on the site in comunications drives me nuts lol.  so realy im infavor of using both methods
