From what I can find they have NEVER put in a sim report how many years do I need to sim.  Also can I do them all as 1 big report?

I would recommend against trying to splice together several years into one single report.
This for two reasons, first it is bloody hard for other people so see what you have been doing if you wander to far from the common way to make the reports.
Second; allot of things, such as growth are not linear, so hard to keep track of over several years when clobbered together, also it is tricky to keep track of the research that way.

So you would have to do 1st 1906, 2nd 1906, 1st 1907, 2nd 1907 and first 1908, unless a mod says otherwise.

I would recommend doing a first report as soon as possible, to get the hang of the rules.
there is usually quite a few questions that crop up around the first report. There is no need to put down all five reports together.
