Building Question

I have orders to build 4 cruisers at 3,500 t and 6 Torpedoboats at 750 t. Construction will start in II/1908.

Infrastructure:

Trieste, Type 3 Port

Building
Type 3, Slipway 220 meters/721 feet
Type 3, Slipway 220 meters/721 feet
Type 2, Slipway 170 meters/557 feet
Type 1, Slipway 120 meters/393 feet

Repair
Type 3, Dry-dock 220 meters/721 feet
Type 2, Dry-dock 170 meters/557 feet
Type 1, Dry-dock 120 meters/393 feet

Monfalcone - no military port facilities
Construction
Type 2, Slipway 170 meters/557 feet

I have 14,5 BP available in II/1908 and 7,25 in I + II/1909. The TB needs 6 months, the cruisers 12 to build. How should i divide the building orders to the available slipways? Could i use the Dry-docks in Triest for the 6 Torpedo Boats?

Could i spent 4,5 BP on the 6 Torpedo Boats (0,75 each) and 10 on the 4 cruisers (2,5 each)?

The only limitation on using  DD or slips for ships is the length of the ships.

If you use the DD in Trieste you easely can build the 6 750 tons TB's. Unless these are verly slender, long ships

On the diversion of the BP's. The 6 Tb's aren't a problem. And if IRC 2.5 Bp for each HY  is fast, but acceptable for the cruiser construction.

You have 10 ships to build, and 8 potential construction sites. You should keep something for repairs, but ... your fleet is brand new, and it is a crazy time :)
So ...
I would begin 2 cruisers, 1 at each yard. And the 6 destroyers. The smaller vessels get all the steel they need. They get launched mid way, so - with a month to clear the mess away - in December you lay down the keels for the remaining cruisers.
Yes, the BP split is OK.

I reconsidered my original suggestion. We can use 1BP a month. Thus:
- lay down the 6 TBs whever, allocating the 4,5 BP
- lay down 2 cruisers (which need 13 mnths to build), allocate them 7 BP (thus you need no longer bother with them)

- in December lay down the remaining cruisers, allocating 2BP to each, topping up with 1,5BP each in 1/1909

Sounds good :) As i have only 14,5 BP available in II/08 i will allocate only 1,5 BP each to Cruiser 3 and 4, topping with 2 BP in I/1909.

That will leave me with some 3,25 BP in I/1909 for other orders.
