What happened to Construction Rules?

Last time I looked, a ship of under 2500t could be constructed in 6 months.
Today, it had suddenly fallen to 500t in 6 months with no notification or explanation.

500 tons seems a bit light for the largest ship that can be built in 6 months... especially if we can add 6000t of material to a ship under construction during that same period of time.

Which is right- 2500t or 500t, and why the change?
If it has changed, why not 1000t for a ceiling on 6 month construction, as that would allow the construction of most destroyers, which could be built that quickly from the little bit that I've read.

I always thought it was 500 tons (although that might be because I am also a Wesworld participant where the limit is at 600 tons). Could be that if 2500 tons was given, that it was a typo and was later corrected.

Destroyers can still be built that fast if you force the construction of them (well almost anyway).
And it seems for most vessels, even ones fairly small ones, the construction time was usally longer then that.

Correction to what I said. I am mixing up what is given in the Cleito treaty and the rules so it's 500 tons in Wesworld as well.

I don't see how we can add 6000 tons worth of steel to a battleship in 6 months, and be held to a completed ship of only 500 tons in the same length of time. If the shakedown period is included in that time for the 500 ton ship, maybe i could see it... but otherwise, that just seems WAY too low.
