Born 3 May 1849, Count Bernhard Heinrich Karl Martin von Bülow is the head of the Reich Foreign Ministry. Aggressivly expansionst and sometimes abrasive, his policies have nevertheless led the Reich to its greatest extent in history, and have brought rapproachment with both France and the Baltic Confederation, although was with the Swiss has also occured on his watch.

von Bülow has been considered in the past for the position of Reichskanzler, however he has made too many enemies in the Reichstag for the Kaiser to risk the appointment.

Count von Bülow was removed from his position after the debacle that was the Cook Islands sale and the Coquimbo deal. He has retired to life in the country.
