OOC :*Slaps forhead......*  Roll Eyes Embarrassed

The Empire of Italia joins Bavaria in its confusion over the desire to claim parts of a giant Iceburg.  If the Empire wants an Ice burg it figures it can harvest one more easily adrift in international waters.

... and Italy does not have to go all the way south to get one. They can easily pick one up drifting in the Northern Atlantic and it is a lot closer so there will be something left of the iceberg once it arrive in an Italian port (at least if they picked up a big one). Smiley

Now I do have a convenient Port Down in Novo Lipari the Chuvosa Islands if I want access to say Whale Hunting, Sealing, and the odd Roast Penguin.   But really folks Walter has a couple of shacks on the Coast of a giant glacier that keeps breaking off and becoming a navagational Hazard.

Other then pure science into Zoology and the Nature of Ice and weather can anyone give me a good reason why many people including Japan who is closer to the North Pole are interested in a large Frozen Ice Cube of a land.  I mean Ok send your explorers to the North Pole looking for Santa's work shop I mean getting a piece of his profit margin is all well and good... Shocked Grin

Yes, it looks very much like a glacier here... Smiley

BTW, looks like the Discovery Hut on the left near the bare hills when looking at the bigger version of the picture...

... cause there are no volcanos sticking through the Arctic ice? That was the main reason why Japan built MEVOS in Wesworld and if I ever plan to go to Antarctica, it would only be to see the Discovery Hut and that volcano. Smiley

Everyone knows that he really lives in Lapland and is thus an ESC citizen. So there really is no need to go to the North Pole...
... except to try out your new Toyota Hilux. Cheesy

The Orange government sees the adjacent portion of Antarctica as their territory (the Norwegian claim).

Perhaps we should ship an iceburg to Hamberg and move it via Marienburg to Habsberg. Grin

The idea was to take the Hebsburgers by complete surprise by shipping the iceburg over land through ECS and Bavarian territory. The evil Hens won't know what hit them. Cheesy
